Please read these terms before using SurrendaSoft Tools.

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using SurrendaSoft Tools at tools.surrendasoft.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms apply to all free browser utilities provided by SurrendaSoft Pty Ltd(ABN 87 687 922 729).

2. About the service

SurrendaSoft Tools are free, browser-based utilities for everyday tasks such as PDF handling, text formatting, business calculations, and productivity helpers. Tools are provided for general utility and convenience.

Custom software development is a separate service offered through SurrendaSoft Solutions and is not covered by these terms.

3. Your data

Unless a tool explicitly states otherwise, content you enter or files you process stay in your browser and are not uploaded to SurrendaSoft. You are responsible for the information you choose to process using our tools and for keeping backups of anything important.

Some tools may store drafts locally in your browser or contact third-party services when you choose to use them (for example, checking a public URL with Google PageSpeed). See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Not professional advice

Tool outputs are for general guidance only. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting, security, medical, or other professional advice. You should not rely on tool results as a substitute for qualified professional judgment.

In particular:

  • Business calculators (GST, margin, hourly rate, and similar) produce estimates based on your inputs
  • Scam and link checkers use pattern matching and heuristics — they cannot guarantee safety
  • SEO and website status tools depend on third-party services and publicly reachable URLs

Always verify important results independently before acting on them.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the tools for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the site or its infrastructure
  • Automate excessive requests that interfere with service availability
  • Misrepresent tool outputs as professional certification or official approval

6. No warranty

SurrendaSoft Tools are provided as-is and as available, free of charge, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SurrendaSoft Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or business arising from your use of the tools.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

8. Intellectual property

The SurrendaSoft Tools website, branding, tool designs, and underlying code are owned by or licensed to SurrendaSoft Pty Ltd. You may use the tools for personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, scrape, or republish the site or its tools for commercial redistribution without our written permission.

You retain ownership of content you create or process using the tools (for example, PDFs or text you generate on your device).

9. Third-party services

Some tools integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, Google PageSpeed, Cloudflare, or mapping links). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. SurrendaSoft is not responsible for third-party services you choose to use through a tool.

10. Changes to the service and terms

We may add, change, or remove tools at any time. We may also update these Terms of Use by posting a revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
